Upon reflection of the ICT audit completed in session one I can see that there are many areas in which I have a high competency. Although, some areas such as using databases, formulae (in a spreadsheet) and scanners need refreshing. I have had a lot of experience with databases and spreadsheets, however, it has been four years since I graduated and last used them fully. I believe that with a simple refresh I will regain full competency. Scanners vary in make and model, therefore provide a grey area in my understanding. It really is a case of reading the manual, what buttons do what etc.
I have no doubt though that my abilities in the other areas are strong and will only get stronger as I progress through the ICT sessions.
